Cornerstone Assembly of God welcomes people of many different nations to a contemporary worship that culls messages from the Bible. It was founded in 1983 in Auburndale before moving to a couple of other locations, including a Needham bookstore. The congregation eventually found its permanent home on Greendale Avenue, where Rev. Jack Briggs and Assistant Pastor Kenneth Villaluz lead services. Worship services are conducted on Sundays at 12:15 p.m. Childcare for babies and toddlers is available during services, as well as classes for children ages preschool through teenagers. The congregation is involved with several ministries, including youth study groups, Vacation Bible School and senior ministry. It also hosts Lifegroups, small home meetings of eight to 12 people.
