Waltham Creative Start is located on Hall at Chestnut streets in a former public library building. Waltham Creative Start (formerly Waltham Head Start") offers child care to local families. Waltham Creative Start is part of Communities United, which has been operating child care centers in Waltham and surrounding communities since 1970. It is a non-profit that receives part of its funding from the Federal and State Government.
