Charlton Mill, located in Fall River, Massachusetts, is a historic textile mill built in 1911. It is the last stone mill building constructed in the city and was the first to utilize both steam and electrical power sources.
Under the leadership of Earl P. Charlton, the mill housed 55,992 spindles and 1,300 looms by 1917, specializing in the production of fine and fancy cotton goods. Despite changing ownership in 1938, Charlton Mill continued textile production well into the 1980s, showcasing a unique architectural design with its wide structure and large windows.
