The Cape & Islands United Way is the largest funder of human service programs on the Cape and Islands beside the government. Every year more than 1 million dollars is given and 99 percent of funds raised stay on the Cape.
There are three areas the CI United Way focuses: nurturing and protecting children and youth, supporting and sustaining families and support for aging and vulnerable populations.
The all volunteer organization is professionally managed and independently governed by local leaders. In addition to leadership, more than 150 volunteers are engaged in furthering its mission.
