Bread of Life is a nonprofit, nondenominational, faith-based food security organization based in Malden, MA. They provide over 1.5 million pounds of free food annually to economically struggling and disadvantaged families, individuals, youth, and senior citizens in the North metro Boston area through various programs such as food pantries, prepared and congregate meals, grocery delivery to senior citizens, and more.
With the help of hundreds of volunteers and dozens of partner organizations, Bread of Life aims to overcome barriers to accessing nutritious food faced by lower-income communities, regardless of race, ethnicity, language, culture, religion, age, gender, and other factors. Their mission is to not only provide food for the body but also nurture for the soul, making them a valuable community resource in Malden and the surrounding areas.
