The Newton Campus of Boston College is primarily used for undergraduate housing and the college's law school. Roughly 800 students live on the Newton Campus, which includes a chapel, dining hall, exercise facility and library. Undergraduate classes, however, are offered on the Chestnut Hill campus and undergraduate students have access to a shuttle bus that operates from 7am to 2am. The Jesuit, Catholic college offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a wide variety of studies, including arts, science, law, theology, education, philosophy, social work and many more. The Newton campus is also home to BC's lacrosse, soccer and field hockey field. In addition to the Boston College shuttle bus, the Boston College Newton campus is a mile from the Newton Centre MBTA stop (green line, D branch) and is also accessible by the #52 MBTA bus, which stops nearby at the intersection of Centre Street and Cotton Street.
