First established in the late 1960s, the Boston Center for the Arts has grown to become one of Boston's premier venues for the performing and visual arts, offering a wide range of exhibits and live performance, enticing for anyone who might be culturally curious. The BCA complex covers four acres of land in the heart of the South End. The BCA houses such spaces as the Cyclorama, Mills Gallery and numerous theatre spaces that are host to many of Boston's theatre companies, including the Huntington, Speakeasy and Company One, among many others.
