It was in 1973 when Bobby Byrne, a bar tender at the New Seabury Country Club, got the notion to open his own saloon. His ideas gave way to the establishment of Bobby Byrne s Restaurant and Pub, which is an Irish pub that serves Jewish food. The restaurant offers various alcoholic, nonalcoholic and malt beverages and a variety of appetizers, soups, entrees, burgers, salads, sandwiches, pasta and desserts. Its menu includes prime rib, steamed mussels, chicken Neptune, lobster raviolis, fried shrimp, chicken nachos, crabmeat, ahi tuna salad and specialty sandwiches. Bobby Byrne s Restaurant and Pub maintains a location in Mashpee, Mass.
