Located on a serene, 23-acre hill in Newton Center, Andover Newton Theological School offers graduate study programs in divinity and religious education as well as a doctorate program in divinity. In addition to degree programs, it also offers certificate programs in ethics and social justice, and ministerial leadership, as well as spiritual and pastoral care. Although many of the students at the schoolare members of the United Church of Christ, there are also members from the Unitarian Universalist, Episcopalian, American Baptist, Presbyterian and Catholic churches. The school shares its picturesque campus with Hebrew College. Andover Newton Theological School is a five-minute walk from the Newton Center MBTA stop (green line, D branch). The #52 MBTA bus also stops nearby at the intersection of Cypress Street and Braeland Avenue.
