Dickerman Playground

This playground sports various benches and tables, a few water fountains and some swings, with a massive jungle gym as a centerpiece. A basketball court and dog run-type space are attached and the area is enclosed within a stone wall. Instead of sand or wood chips, a squishy Astroturf-like material covers the ground, which should keep kids clean, but may lead to a skinned knee or two. There are also several bodega-like shops a few feet away, if refreshments are needed.
