The Advanced Math and Science Academy, also known as AMSA, is a public charter school that serves more than 600 students in grade 6 through 10. Established in 2005, its curriculum includes various subjects, such as mathematics, computer technology, physics, chemistry, physical education, geography, biology and English. The academy also offers classes in various foreign languages, such as French, Spanish and Latin. The Advanced Math and Science Academy operates an athletic department that provides several sports activities. The academy offers special education classes for students with learning disabilities.
