History
Greek Revival/Italianate style building built by local carpenters in 1870 listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We offer two halls for public and private rentals. Grand Hall (upstairs) has a raised platform for theater/music performances. The room seats approximately 150 people; for a sit-down dinner up to 100. Elevator available. Barnes Hall (downstairs) is completely handicapped accessible. The room can be arranged for a variety of functions; abut 50 people can be seated for a meal.

The Mission of Berlin's 1870 Town Hall is to serve the entire community by providing a reasonably self-sustaining venue for local arts endeavors, enriching programs, community gatherings and social events.
