The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) is located on Wilson Boulevard right across the street from the Court House metro station. Recognized by the U.S. Department of Education it provides accreditation for many types of post-secondary schools, colleges and trade schools. Through its accreditation process it is believed that educational institutions will increase their standards, student preparation and quality of education for the more than 200,000 students who attend its 800 accredited schools each year.
