The kee yuhp, or yells, emanating from the White Tiger Tae Kwon Do studio immediately draw the attention of anyone walking through the Perry Hall Square shopping center. Inside, students ranging from 4-years-old to adults are doing tornado kicks, high blocks, forms and sparring as part of the studio's curriculum, progressing through the levels denoted by different belt colors. Classes are offered at various times in the evening and on weekends to cater to working families. Specific classes emphasize different aspects of the sport, such as forms or free sparring. Additionally, the studio offers a summer camp program and other outside activities such as camping trips, movie nights and picnics throughout the year. The personal attention each student receives from the master and the inviting layout of the school make students feel like family.
