Okay, so, where do we go first on a Watermark cruise? The Harbor Queen, long a staple of school field trips, when schools come from all over the state to visit Annapolis. Watermark Cruises was founded in 1972 by Ed Hartman, an attorney. The boats toured the Annapolis Harbor and the Naval Academy shoreline. In 1999, Debbie Gosselin purchased the company from Hartman, her father. In the years following the purchase, Debbie added the Catherine Marie and Lady Sarah to the fleet. Watermark teamed with Three Centuries Tours, owned by Paula Fishback, to provide guided costume tours around the theme of the rich history of Annapolis.
In 2004, the two companies merged to form Watermark, so that tourists and locals could have "...complete Annapolis experience..."
