Established in 1973, the Washington County Commission on Aging is a private, nonprofit organization that serves senior citizens. The organization offers nutritional food, medication management and health screening programs. It provides the Meals on Wheels program for medically homebound individuals. The Washington County Commission on Aging offers individual counseling, respite care and educational services. The organization provides guardianship programs for people at the risk of self-neglect and life-threatening situations.
