History
Junious Brickhouse founded Urban Artistry in 2005 with a small group of friends in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area. Their dedication to cultural preservation, authenticity, and professionalism fostered a community of artists who shared a global perspective on the creative culture found in urban spaces. Following their desire to connect with art forms other than their own led to the development of internationally recognized education programs such as Funk in Focus, The House That Jack Built, and Methods; events like The International Soul Society Festival; and full length theater productions like ORIGINS: One Heartbeat.
