It's tough to review an organization like this. They often are underfunded and understaffed. We stop by here and there to look around and have adopted two animals from this shelter....

Caroline County Humane Society

Caroline County Humane Society is a 501 ( c ) organization contracted by the government of Caroline County, Maryland, for Animal Control Services. Our Animal Control Officers respond to cruelty complaints, or calls regarding injured or dangerous domestic animals 24 hours a day, seven days a week.However, this is just one of the many functions and services provided by Caroline County Humane Society. We have an active adoption program for the homeless dogs and cats ( and other domestic animals ) that come under our care at Caroline County Animal Shelter. We offer low cost spay neuter clinics and programs for pets belonging to Caroline County residents. We also provide humane education, assistance and other outreach programs to our community.
