The ARC is a national nonprofit organization that offers assistance, programs and advocacy for developmentally disabled persons and their families. There are four branches in Prince George's County with two in Upper Marlboro/Largo. There are a number of acitivites that take place at the McCormick Dr facility: social club, residential support group, Very Important Parents, Out on Town, art, theater, choir, paid vocational day programs and physical fitness.
Participants must be approved by the Developmental Disabilities Administration or have an outside source to pay for programs.
Arc provides door-to-door transportation through a combination of onsite vehicles and Metro Access for all programs.
