Founded nearly 100 years ago, the church's first service was held in the summer of 1914, with the 25-person congregation later adopting the name, "St. Luke's Evangelical Church," that fall. Today, the church offers Christian education classes on Sundays for students from pre-K to 9th grade. St. Luke's men's group meets on the first Thursday of each month and the women's group meets on the first Monday of each month for Bible study and fellowship. The church hosts Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Quilters meetings, and has several ongoing mission projects.
