Located in Webster Groves, Mo., the Webster Groves Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that works to protect lives and property, suppress criminal activities, enforce laws and ordinances, and apprehend and prosecute offenders. It operates a communication and dispatch center that coordinates responses to police, fire, and medical emergency and nonemergency calls for service. The department maintains a field operation division that is comprised of patrol and traffic units. The Webster Groves Police Department also has criminal investigation, administration and records units. The Webster Groves Police Department provides the copies of police reports and conducts the neighborhood watch program. It supports the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program, which focuses on the prevention of illegal usage of drugs, gang activities and violent behavior.
