Rock Terrace School prepares students with learning disabilities such as autism, emotional impairments, speech and language disorders for independent living, employment and community involvement. The school uses the Fundamental Life Skills and Montgomery County Public Schools curriculum for students to get a Maryland Certificate at graduation. Courses range from music and visual arts to workplace education and life skills. There are also mini-courses, cooperative math and reading games, jewelry making and wildlife education. The school is part of the Montgomery County Public School System.
