School of Rock offers performance-based music education to kids ages 7 - 18. This music school, franchised across the country, was the basis for Jack Black's 2004 movie of the same name. The school follows an innovative curriculum where students of all levels are taught in private and group lessons and then perform live with their group at a Baltimore club, just like real bands do. Professional musicians offer instruction on guitar, drums, keyboards, bass guitar and vocals. In addition to the year-round programs, one- and two-week summer boot camps are available.
