The Office of Administrative Hearings, also known as OAH, offers a range of judicial services. Founded in 1990, the office is an independent state agency that serves clients in Maryland. It conducts hearings in more than 480 case types. The office serves over 30 state agencies, including the Maryland State Department of Agriculture, Maryland State Department of Education, Maryland State Department of Transportation and Maryland State Commission on Human Relations. The Office of Administrative Hearings has a library that stocks the state and federal statutes and regulations.
