With over 500 visitors on any given Sunday, and overflow crowds from the 300-seat sanctuary watching from a flat screen television in the church's recreation room, Mount Zion Baptist Church has one of the largest congregations in Havre de Grace. Music is an important part of the church, with six choirs included. A mentoring program is among the many missionary and community programs run by Mount Zion. The pastor is James C. Williams, Sr., who preaches from the bible and always reaches out to the youth in the community.
