Montrose Baptist Church's goal is to bring people to Jesus and his family, develop a Christ-like maturity and magnify God's name. Church services include a child development center, Christian School and missions. There is also Sunday school and Bible studies for youths and adults. Along with youth Bible studies, there is also pick-up basketball Wednesday nights, indoor soccer, and First Fridays with live music and hospitality. At the heart of this effort is the Montrose Multi-Cultural Language Ministries, promoting the diversity of the congregation and child development center representing more than 40 different nationalities. Montrose Christian School is a part of the church's efforts. It started in 1977 as a kindergarten with five children. It quickly grew to grades one to four. Seventh and eighth grades were later added. By 1986, the first graduating class of seniors were receiving their diplomas.
