Located on the grounds of the historic Montpelier Mansion, the Montpelier Arts Center was converted from a 1925 cattle barn. The center is home to three galleries, artist studios, a metal casting facility, gas-fired kilns, a digital lab and classrooms.
The center also offers classes in the visual and literary arts for children to adults, beginners to advanced.
The center displays work in its Resident Artist Gallery of contemporary artists working in a variety of mediums, including sculpture, painting and ceramics, and it provides studio space. Studios are open to the public.
The Main Gallery is used for invitational exhibitions, competitions and music performances. The Main Gallery is available for rent for meetings, receptions and performances.
