History
Kaufman Products was founded in 1963 by Irv and Carol Kaufman in Baltimore, Maryland. While concentrating on DOT materials was a major focus, Kaufman Products also developed new technologies in water based technology for curing compounds that allowed them to successfully enter the commercial and residential marketplace. Their son, Alex Kaufman, entered the business full time in 1991. Today, Kaufman Products is specified nationally for their commercial and residential product lines, while continuing to supply materials for DOT work throughout the country.
