Johns Hopkins University Press, located in Baltimore, is one of the oldest printing presses in the United States, and was founded in 1878. It began as Johns Hopkins University s publication agency, publishing the American Journal of Mathematics and American Chemical Journal. The press has published more than 6,000 titles and a wide variety of scholarly journals. Johns Hopkins University Press publishes more than 50 scholarly periodicals and over 200 books every year. The press also offers Project MUSE, a collaboration with the university s Milton S. Eisenhower Library at Johns Hopkins, and offers online scholarly journals and more than 250 periodicals.
