Jewish Youth Philanthropy Institute focuses on developing youth philanthropy and civic engagement through the principles of tzedakah (charitable acts) and tikkun olam (repairing the world). The goal is to help teens connect these principles with the impact of charitable giving and community service.
This hands-on approach for 8th to 12th graders centers on philanthropy training program and service learning opportunities. This includes a week long Summer Service Learning Camp every August.
The JYPI is a part of the Partnership for Jewish Life and Learning.
