History
We started as a class at Anne Arundel Community College in 1999, then moved to the Severna Park Community Center in 2016. The Center enabled us to offer instruction at a lower price and with fewer conditions, gave us freedom to advertise, and had few burdensome regulations.
Specialties
We are a Japanese Jujitsu Dojo specializing in self-defense. Students are men and women, boys and girls, youth and adults. Japanese Jujitsu is the hand-to-hand fighting art of the Samurai in Japan. It includes all of the techniques you see in MMA: Striking and kicking; grappling; throws and takedowns; ground wrestling; and submissions. Students learn these techniques and their application in self-defense scenarios. The dojo is is a friendly and welcoming place with a family atmosphere. Students have fun while learning the art.
