Over the past 30 years we have performed over 17, 000 inspections, and several thousand inspections for repeat clients. We know of no other Maryland company with a higher client satisfaction rate. We are noted for inspections that are detailed, picky and, most of all, accurate. In Maryland it is legal for home inspectors to limit their liability to the cost of the inspection. Although we offer such inspections, we are one of the few companies that offers an inspection for a reasonable fee in which we accept liability for errors and omissions under the Standards of Practice of the American Society of Home Inspectors ( ASHI ). For home inspections we strongly believe that our clients deserve more than a list of defects. A good inspection is a crash course in how to live with a home or a commercial building, how to take care of it and avoid unnecessary costs. All of our inspections are videotaped and mailed to our clients as DVDs. Equipped with this video you can review technical information and discussions that took place during the inspection a year or so later in a meaningful way. A decent written report, on the other hand, may contain little or no helpful information that isn't laden with techno-babble, such as: sillcock, ridge pole, eyebrow, Flemish bond, or soffit, which can mean very little if you do not have an image in front of you.
