History
Hysteria started as a seed of an idea to homebrewer and entrepreneur Rich Gue back in early 2012. Now founder and CEO, Rich has witnessed his dream become a reality after two years of construction, construction woes, and a metaphorical ton of elbow grease and a less metaphorical ton of sleepless nights.
Specialties
Inspired by cafe culture and traditional British public houses, Hysteria aims to be a focal point for the community. With an expansive customer-curated library and vinyl collection, and regular, engaging events like yoga, pop-up shops, game nights, book shares, and an outdoor summer movie series, Hysteria is excited to be a dynamic and welcoming gathering place for all. Hysteria sets out to create a taproom drawing on the innovative, collaborative, and community-driven atmosphere that makes craft beer special. Hysteria believes a business can be a valuable part of the community and aims to elevate the lives of its patrons, offering a welcoming, friendly, and engaging taproom experience. We aim to collaborate with our friends and neighbors at farms and businesses across Maryland to create a truly unique product distinct to the state we call home.
