CollegePAS came about to address the gap between the high school guidance counselor (who are often not well-equipped to tell students what they need to know in terms of how they're going to pay for college, how much it's going to cost, and the ramifications of student loan debt) and the college financial adviser (who are not necessarily incentivized to counsel families against taking out unreasonable amounts of student loans to subsidize their costs). We aim to fill the gap that can often occur between the guidance counselor and college aid adviser.
