This is a brand new Montessori center opening in Hyattstown, 4 miles north off or Route 355. It is also 3 miles south of Urbana, Maryland. Exit 22 of I-270. We follow strict Montessori Education, and this is not a daycare trying act like a Montessori preschool. Our 4 or 5 year old children are in Montessori classroom 9am to 3pm. We do not take children less than 2 years old for a pre-primary program. We admit children who are fully potty trained for the primary classroom (Age 3-5). The founders of Green Valley Montessori are the same owners who operate Urbana montessori in Villages of Urbana, Maryland since 2007. We have AMS (American Montessori Society) certified, highly qualified teachers who provide the best of Montessori education one can get. We use high quality Nienhuis Montessori materials, Computers/Ipads as part of the education.
