The Friends of the Jewish Chapel (FOJC) is a nonprofit organization established in 1994 to enrich the religious and cultural lives of Jewish Midshipmen at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. Initially providing programming support, FOJC later spearheaded the creation of the Commodore Uriah P. Levy Center and Jewish Chapel, which was approved in 1999 and dedicated in September 2005.
Continuing their commitment beyond the dedication ceremony, FOJC has established endowments to ensure the proper maintenance of the facilities and programming for the Midshipmen. With a vision to expand their scope of activities and programs, FOJC aims to better serve the Naval Academy, its midshipmen, and faculty.
