Forbush School at Oakmont Upper School offers special education programs for students with disabilities that are between the ages of 12 and 21 years old. The school offers programs for students with autism, developmental delays, pervasive developmental disorders, learning problems, severe behavioral problems and other related issues. Students receive evaluations and then individual programs are customized to meet their specific learning and developmental needs. The staff here is composed of certified teachers, aides, licensed therapists, a licensed psychologist and a behavioral support team. This school is approved by the state's department of education.
