Dr. Wagar attended Oregon Health & Sciences University School of Medicine. He completed his OB/GYN residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC where he earned the “Best Teaching Resident” award. He has been in practice since 2002, including several years as Professor at Oregon Health & Sciences University where he helped to lead in the surgical training of residents. Dr. Wagar has a special interest in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) including advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. He is an experienced robotic surgeon, having used the da Vinci Robotic Surgery platform since 2007. Dr. Wagar is Board Certified, a member of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Wagar and his wife have three daughters. He enjoys skiing, cycling and hiking with his family, and is an avid fan of all Washington teams.
