Crown Electric Company provides a variety of electrical equipment services and repairs to businesses and homeowners in the Greater Baltimore area. The company s products and services include feeder upgrade and repair, design engineering, computer power systems, power supplies, interior lighting, security lighting, control wiring, motor control, security systems, computer and data cabling, load analysis and outlet and switch relocation and installation. The company was founded in 1905 and was originally an electrical contractor and supply store in downtown Baltimore. The original counter from that store still sits in the company s warehouse and is used to store incoming shipments from its suppliers and outgoing shipments to its various job sites throughout Baltimore. In 1961, The Crown Electric Company moved to its present location in Timonium, Md., just one mile north of the Baltimore Beltway in Baltimore County.
