Linganore High School, located in Frederick, Md., is a public school that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. More than 1,500 students are enrolled in the school that offers subjects, such as English, mathematics, social studies, science, computer education, technology, business, music, art, and health and physical education. The school is designated a Maryland and National Blue Ribbon School. Through the development of small learning communities, freshmen participate in the school s first-year LEAP program, a transitional step between middle and high school.
