The Maryland Department of Natural Resources-Fisheries Services Division is responsible for the processing and development of recommendations for methods to improve, modernize and streamline fishery management. The Maryland Department of Natural Resources offers various online fishing licensing and employment applications. It also administers several wildlife education programs and summer camps. The department additionally manages the health and recreational use of fresh and saltwater fishes. The Maryland Department of Natural Resources planners and land managers oversee more than 400,000 acres of public land and manage over 90 natural, cultural, historic and recreational resources. It is located in Annapolis, Md.
