Centers for the Handicapped Foundation was established in 1998, to support the programs and activities of CHI Centers, a private nonprofit organization for individuals with developmental disabilities. It supports children with cerebral palsy by providing training and educational programs, and legislative advocacy. The main programs and services offered by CHI Centers include adult program, residential and employment services, business service, career assessment, recreation and transportation. It is accredited by Department of Rehabilitation Services and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Centers for the Handicapped Foundation is located in Silver Spring, Md.
