Chapel Oaks Volunteer Fire Department, 5544 Sheriff Rd, Capitol Heights, MD 20743, US

The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad is comprised of volunteer rescue personnel who serve the residents of Bethesda, Chevy Chase and Northwest Washington, D.C. Rescuers respond to the scenes of emergencies and often team up with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue responders to help residents. The fleet includes two rescue squads and seven ambulances. Responders include trained firefighters, emergency medical technicians and a bicycle emergency response team. The rescue squad dates back to 1939, and it displays a vintage 1973 ambulance at parades and community events.
