Founded as a part of the Baltimore City Public Schools in 1947, Baltimore City Community College is a coeducational international university, offering bachelor's, master's, specialist, and doctoral degrees in a wide variety of courses. BCCC enrolls more than 10,000 students annually. The college provides various courses, such as accounting, advertising, athletic training and biology programs. It also offers preparation assistance for medical, dental, veterinary, podiatric school and research and government careers. Additionally, it provides courses in biotechnology, broadcast communication, cardiovascular perfusion, computer information sciences and criminology. BCCC s specialization courses include cytotechnology, diagnostic medical ultrasound technology, sport management, early childhood prekindergarten and primary education, ecological studies and foreign language studies. Located in Baltimore, the Brad Library offers a complete selection of audiovisual materials, such as videotapes, CDs and DVDs, periodicals, articles, e-journals, Proquest computing journals, and dictionaries and encyclopedias.
