Antique Exchange has been in business in Baltimore for over 25 years and has long been one of the "go to" sources for designers and consumers alike. With our move to Hampden's Chestnut Avenue in the Summer of 2008, we complemented our classic inventory of fine antiques and collectibles with the addition of contemporary decorative items and newly upholstered vintage pieces. We realize that not many of us live with everything old or everything new, so we wanted our store to reflect the way many are living with a mix of the best of old and new and reflective of personal style and personality. Whether you are searching for that "just right" piece of furniture, a fresh new accent item to spruce up a room or a gift for any occasion, our location at 3545 Chestnut Avenue has two floors of beautiful items - classic and current, formal and fun. We also provide custom furniture, fabrics and decorative assistance. Antique Exchange has been featured in Style, PaperDoll House and Baltimore Magazine. Our consignment policies have not changed and we still provide the services on which so many people have come to rely. If an individual is in the process of an estate cleanout, combining two households, or simply cleaning out the overflowing attic, we are pleased to offer our assistance. Owner, Tom Finnerty, can dispose of "dumploads", provide solutions for items we cannot sell, and/or consign or buy those items we feel would complement our existing inventory. This cleanout service provides a valuable resource for those who require it, but don't have the knowledge or means necessary to do it themselves.
