My photography experience as an amateur dates back to when I was 7 years old, I always had to have the camera (a Brownie) and took mom and dad's photos wherever we went. Later on, in my late teens, I was hired to photograph a friend's wedding and realized I could make money and that began a professional career that lasted up until hurricane Andrew and the digital age of commercial photography... As you can imagine (back then) the price for a digital back for an 8X10 inch camera (or even a 120) where ridiculous; a 35MM digital camera body was $20,000.00 and HMI lights (strobes) were $6,000 per head. Needless to say, all this was way-way beyond my budget and credit card limits.
