Cape Elizabeth High School
Cape Elizabeth High School, founded in 1969, is a public school serving more than 600 students in grades nine through 12. The high school offers various college preparatory, vocational and special education programs, and its curriculum also includes arts, English, health education, math, music, science, and social studies. Its physical education facilities include a large gymnasium, swimming pool, tennis courts, baseball, softball and multipurpose fields, and a six-lane track. The school s extracurricular activities include art and computer clubs, debates, math team, mock trial, prom committee, student rescue team, volunteer club, and yearbook preparation. Its sport programs include soccer, cross- country, basketball, football, swimming, diving, indoor track, Nordic skiing, lacrosse, golf, tennis, field and ice hockey, baseball, and softball. Its library media center has more than 10,000 volumes, 100 periodicals and various audiovisual materials. Governed by the Cape Elizabeth School Department, it is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The high school is located in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.
