Main St. Attendees are encouraged to bring a food donation and enjoy music, food, and dancing while having the chance to pop balloons for a prize. The funds raised will help provide more food options for the Community Action Program's food pantry, which serves around 200 people a month. The Laconia Area Center, operated by the Community Action Program, also offers assistance programs for heating fuel and electrical service. Other food programs in the area include St. Vincent De Paul, Salvation Army, Lakes Region Vineyard Church, and United Baptist Church.
