Old Orchard Beach Fire Department provides fire fighting and fire safety services to the residents of the City of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The fire department consists of more than 10 career fire fighters who are also paramedics and emergency medical technicians (EMTs). The Old Orchard Beach Fire Department maintains a 42-hour workweek with three fire and rescue personnel and one part-time EMT on each shift. The fire department is supplemented by approximately 30 on call fire fighters. The Old Orchard Beach Fire Department provides fire prevention and education services, which consists of fire and public education, as well as building inspections. Old Orchard Beach Fire Department maintains its headquarters in Old Orchard Beach.
