When first established in the late eighties, a humble flooring installation company was formed. Small business owner Larry Stoddard noticed a hole in the market when it came to one thing: luxury tile. With a passion for art and aesthetics as well as installation skill, he decided to specialize and become an expert at the high-end tile niche and Distinctive Tile was born. Rooted in integrity, high-quality products and a philosophy of always treating customers right, the local family business found success with four showrooms across the state of Maine.
